After several months of rehabilitation, he was able to walk with contact guard assistance and using a bariatric rolling walker. His home needed to be modified in order accommodate for the use of his mobility device.

Ms. Thomas* is a 96-year-old who lives at home with a full time aide. She experienced, which resulted in a hip fracture.She now walks using a rolling walker and her home health aide assists with all ADL and IADL tasks. Her and her family contacted Jukebox Health to improve her home safety and prevent future falls

Risks Addressed

  • Family felt unsteady walking on their indoor and outdoor staircases

  • Slippery stairway flooring lacked any balance support

  • Unsafe stairs limited access to other floors of the home

  • Lack of accessible entryway in the front of the home
